  3. Multnomah Early Childhood Program
Description:

Learning in a nurturing environment is important for a child’s development. In our imaginative and lively classes, young children make friends while playing, painting, learning and laughing alongside children with special needs. Peers will learn diversity, tolerance, and to appreciate the differences in every child. Our classrooms implement “Big Day for Pre-K” the “Creative Curriculum,” which aligns with the Early Learning Framework to promote Kindergarten readiness for all children.

Our professional teaching teams include state licensed, early childhood special education teachers. We require parents to transport their children.

MECP offers classes in several school districts in Multnomah County  including: Centennial, David Douglas, Gresham-Barlow, Parkrose, Portland Public Schools, and Reynolds.

Classes are available Monday-Thurdsay in the AM or PM, for 2 hours and 45 minutes.

MECP is a program of the David Douglas School District. Interpretation services are available upon request. If you need help with the application, please contact us at 503-261-5535
