DESCRIPTION:Get an up-close look at dozens of big rigs and other specialty vehicles at the annual Big Truck Day at Conestoga Recreation and Aquatic Center. The Conestoga parking lot will be filled with bulldozers\, fire engines\, freight trucks\, cranes\, buses\, tow trucks\, and other specialty vehicles.\n\n\nSaturday\, August 1\, 2026 | 10 am to 1 pm. Sensory Sensitive Hour: 9 to 10 am.*\n\n\nAttendees can discover the excitement of big trucks and heavy machinery at this family-friendly event. Guests can step inside vehicles\, sound the horn\, and explore these impressive machines up close. The parking lot will showcase an array of big rigs and more\, creating an engaging experience for all ages. Attractions include food trucks\, a picnic area\, a giant sandbox\, free access to the splash pad\, and other activities designed for families.\n\n \n\n\nFor those needing a break from the action\, Oregon State Credit Union will sponsor a Chill Zone\, a shaded lounge area where guests can relax and recharge. The Chill Zone will feature seating and complimentary refreshments\, offering a comfortable space to take a break before continuing to explore Big Truck Day.\n\n\n*To support guests with sensory sensitivities\, there will be no music or horn sounds during this hour.
