DESCRIPTION:Since 1970\, folks all over the world have come together during the month of April to advocate for environmental protections and take action to care for our ecosystems. SOLVE invites you and your community to step into that role of service with us throughout the month of April.\n\n\nRise and Brine! Join us at Lents Park to collect litter and recyclables in the surrounding area. Dillon T. Pickle\, mascot of the Portland Pickles baseball team will be joining us for the fun! It’s kind of a big dill that you won’t want to miss. Come gather together with your neighbors to clean up our city and enjoy snacks and beverages at the end of our event!\n\n\nEvery piece of litter that is collected helps to divert trash from leaching into our soils\, polluting our waterways\, or disrupting the homes of our animal friends.\n\n \n\n\nEditor’s note: This event is a community submission.
