DESCRIPTION:Every Monday-Wednesday at FLIP\, we focus on a specific culture\, community\, or holiday and offer stories and crafts on that theme. This week\, we are highlighting World Adoption Day (Nov. 9). Arrive by 10:30 if you want to hear the story. The crafts will focus on hand-art and will be available the whole day\, 9:30-1:30.\n\n\nWhy hand art? In 2015\, an organization called AdoptTogether began the tradition of drawing a smiley face on your hand to represent adoption. It symbolizes joy and love\, and connects people around the world.
