Join us on Earth Day (April 22, 2023) at Fields Bridge Park in West Linn to help restore the habitat for wildlife and humans.  This is a multi-use park which stretches along the Tualatin River and features paved walking trails, interpretative signs, a playground, community garden, fishing access areas, and baseball fields.  Tasks will include removal of invasive vegetation such as ivy, Himalayan blackberries, holly, knotweed,  and others and also some plantings of new plants.  You will get a good workout and feel good about contributing to the health of this beautiful park.

Please dress appropriately for soggy cool weather.  Sturdy shoes or boots are strongly recommended and be prepared to get wet and possibly muddy.  Hand tools and work gloves will be provided.  You can also bring your own gloves if you prefer.

The work party will run from 9 am – noon.  From noon – 1 pm, please stay and enjoy lunch courtesy of the West Linn Lions Club.

Please note:  all adult participants must sign an on-line waiver and all youth (< 18 years) must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver on their behalf.  Waivers will also be available on the day of the event.
