DESCRIPTION:The community event is open to all and will feature fun activities for families\, including a balloon artist\, a hair tinsel station\, and special author read-alouds from Allison Olson’s children’s books\, Surrounded by Love: An Open Adoption Story and Learning About My Friend’s Adoption: An Open Adoption Story.\n\n\nNational Adoption Awareness Month is recognized every November to raise awareness about adoption\, celebrate adoptive families\, and support adoption education in the community. The West Linn event provides a local opportunity to celebrate the month while fostering inclusion and connection within the community.
