SUMMARY:Indigenous Arts Festival
DESCRIPTION:Located in the heart of Downtown Gresham\, this free\, two-day event is a celebration of Native American art and  artists\, featuring an art fair\, musical performances\, dancing\, storytelling\, and artist demonstrations.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSaturday\, October 4\n\n\n\n\nThis is a preliminary schedule of events that is subject to change as the dates approach. \n\n\n\n10am-4pm\n\nArtist booths – shop at 40+ tables featuring unique art by Indigenous vendors\, courtesy of Portland Indigenous Marketplace. Booths are located in the museum parking lot and on 4th street between Main and Roberts. \n\n\n\n10am-12pm\n\nDrumming and dancing performance by Turquoise Pride\, located at the Spinellas outdoor stage north of the museum. \n\n\n\n12-1pm\n\nWeaving activity inside the museum. \n\n\n\n1-2pm\n\nCultural Appreciation presentation with Rebecca Kirk inside the museum. Learn how cultural awareness and appreciation can combat cultural appropriation in Native communities and spaces. \n\n\n\n2-4pm\n\nWyam Youth Film Club screening of short films inside the museum. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSunday\, October 5\n\n\n\n\nThis is a preliminary schedule of events that is subject to change as the dates approach. \n\n\n\n10am-4pm\n\nArtist booths – shop at 40+ tables featuring unique art by Indigenous vendors\, courtesy of Portland Indigenous Marketplace.
