SUMMARY:Mid-Autumn Festival with Heart Strings Mandarin Trio
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special musical celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival\, featuring the Heart Strings Mandarin Trio. This talented ensemble—Sharon Gan (pianist and vocalist)\, Dr. Jerry Lin (scientist and erhu aficionado)\, and Dan Velasquez (composer and multi-instrumentalist)—will share a curated selection of songs from across Asia.\n\nThe Mid-Autumn Festival\, the second largest holiday in Chinese culture after Lunar New Year\, falls on October 6 this year. Our October First Tuesday Music falls on October 7\, giving us the perfect opportunity to continue the celebration with music\, culture\, and community.\n\nA livestream will also be available at https://www.youtube.com/LakeOLib/streams\nSeating is on a first come\, first served basis. The library is located at 706 Fourth Street\, Lake Oswego.\n\nThis program is supported by the Friends of the Lake Oswego Public Library.
