The Montavilla Farmers Market kicks off its 20th season with activities including a DIY button-making station, a T-shirt giveaway, a seasonal recipe demonstration, and a display of the history of the market.
With almost two decades under its belt, the market has been a welcoming gathering place where Portlanders shop, connect, and support local farmers and food producers. Year-round, family- and dog-friendly, open rain or shine, the market was designed for the Pacific Northwest in 2007, and has thrived here ever since.
Each week, market-goers find 60 vendors selling seasonal produce, flowers, baked goods, hot food, beverages, and a variety of locally made groceries.
