Explore the world of owls at Tryon Creek State Natural Area!\n\n\nTake a guided hike\, dissect an owl pellet\, interact with a live Great Horned Owl\, and connect with our staff and volunteers to learn about owl habitats and HOOO might be living in your own backyard!\n\n\nSCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES\n\n \n\n\nAll Ages Guided Hikes (meet at Friends Circle in front of Nature Center)\n\n\n10:30am: Owls of Tryon Creek 11:30am: Owl Adaptations 12:30pm: Owls of Tryon Creek 1:30pm: Owl Adaptations\n\n\nOwl Pellet Dissection Activity: Dissect owl pellets on the back deck of the Nature Center (10am – 3pm)\n\n\nOwl Crafts: Get creative with arts and crafts in the Nature Center Classroom (10am – 3pm)\n\n\nFace Painting: Have your face painted with nature-themed imagery in the Nature Center Classroom (12:30 – 2:30pm)\n\n\nOwls of Tryon Creek Table: Learn about owl species that live in Tryon Creek near the Friends Circle (10am – 3pm)\n\n\n*No registration required*\n\n\n
