Join us for some sensory-friendly holiday fun!\n\n\nWhen: Saturday\, November 29th 10am-4pm\n\n\nWhere: Zen Penguin Swim School – Clackamas (Located inside Clackamas Day School)\, 16640 SE 82nd Dr\, Clackamas\, OR\n\n \n\n\nWhat to Expect: Multiple seasonal backdrops – colorful rainbows\, snowy scenes and festive spaces to interact with! Play-based photo invitations – no posing\, no waiting\, just natural smiles and space for movement. Parent-led photos – bring your phone or camera and capture the moments that matter. Special Confetti Zone – one area will feature a professional photographer to invite mom and dad in the photo and capture your family’s playful side in action!\n\n\nWhat Makes It Sensory Friendly: No lines\, no forced smiles\, no stranger in a Santa suit – just you and your family moving at your own pace through a series of thoughtful scenes with gentle lighting\, flexible space\, and open-ended play for all comfort levels.\n\n\nRegistration required: Register at https://zenpenguinswimschool.com/pics_and_penguins\n\n\nGeneral Admission: 12pm – 4pm\n\n\nHoliday music will be playing! Families will be allowed in at certain intervals to keep a limit on how many are in the space at once. If there is a wait\, there will be a text list so that you don’t have to wait in line.\n\n\nIncludes 1 outdoor exhibit\, 1 pool activity with a ZPSS instructor (no swimming involved)\, 3 self-paced sensory backdrops\, 1 family photo with a professional photographer\n\n\nSensory-Avoidant Hours: 10am – 12pm\n\n\nTo accommodate our most sensitive attendees\, we will be hosting two hours of “Quiet Hours.” Families will be able to register for a specific start time. There will be a cap on how many families we allow in the space at once. There will be no music during Quiet Hours. Noise-canceling headphones and silly masks will be available for anyone to borrow. Includes all activities included in the General Admission.
