SUMMARY:Pier Park Pick-Up
DESCRIPTION:We will be removing invasives like ivy and blackberry\, picking up litter\, dragging fallen limbs into piles\, and weeding the new beds of native plant to help give them a good start. All ages and families are welcome. Work begins at 9 am with a short orientation talk and finishes up about noon. Wear good work shoes and be prepared for the weather. If you have them\, bring your own work gloves and a container for water. We will have fresh water to fill your containers. Friends of Pier Park will also provide coffee and donuts for all volunteers.\n\n\nEditor’s note: This event is a community submission.
