PDX’s Period Power Project offers an easy\, meaningful opportunity for kids and adults to help others in the community. \nFrom April 11 through May 10\, families can pick up period supplies while shopping and donate them at 20+ drop-off locations across the Portland area. A special part of this project is creating simple\, handmade cards of support — a great at-home activity for kids\, classrooms\, or families to spread kindness and encouragement. \nPeriod products are not covered by programs like SNAP and WIC\, leaving many without access to essential supplies.
