Portland TextileX Month returns this October for its seventh year with the theme of Origin Stories. This theme asks: What was the spark—real or imagined—that infused your project, body of work, business, or other creation with life and energy? Amid the collective challenges we now face, which stories, journeys, spaces, gatherings, teachings, and solutions are crucial to carry us forward?

We are excited to showcase events that weave together answers to these questions and highlight local artists, organizations, and businesses around Portland.
