BOLD is thrilled to host a special children’s storytime with children’s book creators Kirk Charlton and Brian Parker as part of S2: Small and Self-Publishing Faire.
Kirk Charlton is an author, creator, and artist. He strives to work on projects that will help transform others’ lives. Kirk started writing and illustrating the I Want To Be… series for his daughter Sophie.
Brian Parker lives in Beaverton, Oregon and, along with Josie Parker, is the owner of Believe In Wonder Publishing. Their lives and their work are devoted to sharing imagination and creativity with young minds and inspiring a new generation of dreamers. They are the recipients of the Adoption Excellence Award for Family Contributions, issued through the US Department of Health and Human Services, and are certified in bibliotherapy and in Therapeutic Life Story Work by the TLSW International in the UK.
