DESCRIPTION:Head to Oxbow Regional Park to honor salmon with two days of fun\, food and cultural connections along the Sandy River. Activities are planned for both Saturday\, Oct. 18 and Sunday\, Oct. 19. View fall Chinook returning to one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier glacier-fed wild and scenic rivers. Enjoy plant walks\, arts and crafts\, storytelling\, Native games\, vendors\, traditional baked salmon samples\, educational activities and more!\n\n\nFree event. No registration is required. All activities are held both days unless otherwise noted.\n\n\nParking is $5 or covered by an annual parking pass.\n\n \n\n\nDaily schedule of events\n11 to 11:30 a.m.\nDrumming at Alder shelter\n\n\n11:35 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.\nCultural dancing featuring Shochicalli Toltec – Chichimec Dance Group at Alder shelter\n\n\n12:40 to 1:25 p.m.\nStorytelling with Ed Edmo at Beaver shelter\n\n\n1:30 to 2:15 p.m.\nCultural dancing featuring Iksiks Washana’lama (Little Swan Dancers) at Alder shelter\n\n\n2:20 to 2:55 p.m.\nStorytelling with Savahna Jackson at Beaver shelter\n\n\n11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (All day)\nSalmon samples\, Indigenous Marketplace vendors\, tabling organizations\, food\, games\, and crafts (weaving demo and printmaking)
