An annual festival since 1986, ScanFair brings Scandinavia to Portland through traditional food and drink vendors; an entertainment program focused on cultural heritage; games, activities, and crafts; and welcoming local community organizations.

Among this year’s offerings are more than 80 local vendors and organizations, a kids’ craft area, live entertainment, a Finnish Santa, a Viking ship, and Nordic food & drink including aquavit and Swedish meatballs. All of these elements evoke the sights, sounds, tastes, and traditions of a Nordic Christmas market!

ScanFair will be held for the first time at the Oregon Convention Center (previously the Oregon Memorial Coliseum) on Saturday, December 10 from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, December 11 from 10 am to 4 pm.
