DESCRIPTION:Tualatin’s Winona Grange #271 8340 SW Seneca St\, 97062\n\n\nHosts Seeds & Bees Fair April 25\, 2026 1-4\n\n\nFree seeds and takeaways to welcome pollinators will highlight an afternoon of family fun and learning Saturday\, April 25 at Winona Grange in Tualatin\, 1-4 pm. The goal is to celebrate the role pollinators play in our lives and raise community awareness about pollinator health. Tips also available for new and experienced gardeners alike.  Free ice cream sundaes will top off the event.\n\n \n\n\nAdults will gather at 1:15 for a presentation on hummingbirds and bees as pollinators by Marilyn Ellis\, a Certified Master Naturalist and Portland Community College instructor. A second presentation at 2:45 by Kristin Reid will focus on no-till (or dig) gardening which emphasizes preserving soil structure and boosting microbial life while retaining moisture and minimizing weeds.  “Grow more. Work Less” is her approach.\n\n\nAll ages can assemble their own free mason (native\, non-stinging) bee houses to take home along with vegetable and pollinator-friendly flower seeds. Kid-friendly crafts will again be offered tis year.  Garden questions will be answered by local hobbyists. A limited number of free seedlings will also be available.\n\n\nWinona Grange 271 is located at 8340 SW Seneca in Tualatin.
