Small Friends provides a developmentally appropriate program for children, ages 3-5. They believe children are active, capable, willing participants in their education for life. They recognize that children are active learners who learn best through direct interaction with a variety of adults and children, exploration, investigation and play.

Their classrooms provide ample opportunities for children to explore, create, observe, experiment, problem-solve and collaborate to construct a deeper understanding of their world. Curriculum is implemented with respect to each individual child and in collaboration with a team of excellent classroom teachers parent volunteers.
