An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Tuesday, repeating until July 5, 2022

$75 – $90

Trees come in all shapes, sizes, textures, and colors. Study their characteristics through the practice of art with instructor Angela Ruggles. She will guide youth in the exploration of color through collage, texture through printmaking, and shape through sculpture. Spend time connecting with nature and create something special to take home each week.

  • Registration is required
  • Registration fee pays for the 3 class series (6/21, 6/28, 7/5)
  • Fee includes supply costs
  • Program is designed for 5-8 year olds to be dropped-off

About the instructor: Angela Ruggles is a nature and art educator and certified yoga instructor (RYT 500 & RCYT). She is the founder of The Nature Atelier, where she explores art, movement, and the environment to inspire a passion for protecting the planet. Angela has a background in museum education and paleoethnobotany and is a self-taught artist. She received an MS in International Museum Studies from the University of Gothenburg and a MA in Anthropological Archaeology from the University of British Columbia.

Class size is limited, pre-registration required.
