From our friends at St. Rose School
DISCOVER THE LITTLE SCHOOL WHERE BIG THINGS HAPPEN
Since 1913, St. Rose School has helped raise saints and scholars in a small community centered on Catholic faith and values. We provide a comprehensive pre-k through eighth grade education that includes art, music, PE and much more, helping to form lifelong learners who respect others and serve their community.
LEARNING LOOKS A LITTLE DIFFERENT
The pandemic has changed how we “do school” for now. But our commitment to our community and to our students’ success stands strong. While we eagerly await the day our halls are again filled with laughter, our kids continue to study safely at home with a digital learning protocol that includes regular face-to-face video time with teachers and classmates.
IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT ACADEMICS
Our students aren’t simply doing schoolwork in the midst of the pandemic. With the help of their families and classmates, they’re learning what it means to be human. Service is a huge part of the St. Rose family, so we had to get creative when distance learning kicked in. On April 1, we completed our first drive-thru service project. School families and parishioners built sack lunches in their homes and made safe drop-offs in our parking lot, providing over 400 meals to our most vulnerable neighbors at Blanchet House.
