For one-off events please follow the guide below:
Event title: This should include the name of the event and can include location and quadrant of Porltand. We will edit titles at our discretion.
For example: Tommy’s Dog Show at the Convention Center in NE PDX.
Date & Time: This is the event date and event time. Please include an end time for events whenever possible.
Venue Location: This is required, tell us where your event is located.
Categories/Tags/Neighborhood/Ages/Event Typ/Cost: The more details you provide, the easier it will be for people to find your event. Choose as many as are relevant to best describe your event.
Description: Add the narrative you want to tell people about your event. Keep it detailed and specific. In this space you can also write a note to the calendar director about any additional information you would like us to know including if you event repeats on multiple dates or you want different contact information to show up on the event posting.
Organizer name and email: Required, these will show up in the event post. We need contact info incase there are any questions about the submission. If you want the event to show up with different contact information, please provide that in the description and your event will post with the appropriate contact info listed.
URL: Url's are required that link to a website or event listing (a facebook listing works). We require this in order to ensure calendar accuracy and to give our users a place to find more information about an event.
Images: you are welcome to submit an image, it is however up to the calendar directors discretion whether the image will be included. Please do not submit images you do not have rights to or that you do not have permission to use. Fliers or posters are great options for images.
3. Click Submit Event when done.
Once an event is submitted, an email confirming the submission will be sent to the email address provided. The calendar director will also receive an email notification alerting them of the submission and that an event is waiting to be approved. Once approved or declined, another email will be sent either confirmation or declining the event.
