Flying Birds and Slithering Snakes Puppet Workshop

In this one-hour workshop students will create a bird with flapping wings and/or a snake that slithers. Drawing and printmaking techniques will add details resembling scales and feathers, while simple mechanics will allow the puppet to move. The workshop will conclude in the students presenting a final performance. The playspace is available to children before and after the workshop as well as during. Teaching artists Sarah and liz offer an open space to explore art, puppet making and playtime! Most enjoyed by ages 3 and up.
