Join us for another year of fun entertainment, great food, and dancing! The Oregon Buddhist Temple is proud to announce the return of its annual Obon Festival, a cherished Japanese and Japanese-American tradition. This festival is family-friendly and free to the public. View the incredible event schedule here! There will be a Children’s Corner in the Outdoor Garden from 2-5:30pm.
Live performances like Portland Taiko and Martial Arts will be held throughout the day. Traditional Japanese festival foods and gifts will be for sale starting at 2 PM. Bon Odori, a group folk dance that is open to all who wish to join, will run from 7 PM – 9 PM.
