Celebrate back to school season with Environment Oregon at our “Back to School Clothing and School Supply Swap” event. A back to school swap is where people bring some of the clothes, shoes and other school supplies your kids no longer wear or use (but that are still in decent shape) and trade them with other people. That way, you can refresh your kids’ back to school wardrobe without having to spend any money. And as an added bonus, it reduces waste by keeping clothing and other school supplies in use for longer!
This is a totally free event, but to participate you must bring a minimum of two items to swap. All are welcome, but this event is intended for swapping items for kids aged 5-14 (K-8).
Join us at Wonderwood Springs in downtown St Johns in Portland to enjoy a beverage and a snack, swap clothing and other school supplies, and take action on Environment Oregon’s campaigns to protect the environment.
