Commonwealth Skateboarding Summer Camp

Camp sessions are available at Commonwealth Skateboarding. Kids ages 9-16 can learn how to develop their skateboard skills as well
Our summer skateboard camps are one of the funnest and fastest ways to get better at skateboarding and experience all of the best outdoor skate parks in the greater Portland area. With focus on safety (both physical and mental!) and inclusion, each day we warm up at Commonwealth before loading up in our camp van and head out to 2 or 3 different skateparks each day. We make sure your camper is well hydrated throughout the day, along with stops for lunch and ice cream! The day is then ended back at Commonwealth Skatepark for pizza and goofiness. The Camp is run by sponsored skater maestro and all around awesome guy, Andrew Le, and one of our other coaches, either Kiran or Max, depending on the day. We really like Battle Ground Washington Skatepark and Hood River Skatepark as our furthest destinations! The trips are taken using the Commonwealth Van, a 2012 Ford E-350 15-passenger van. We keep this vehicle maintained, healthy and clean. If you have any questions at all, please email info@cwskate.com or call us at 503-208-2080. * We require your camper to have a basic understanding of a skateboard, and be able to stand on the board in some capacity. If your camper has zero experience with skateboarding, we do suggest to first sign them up with a private lesson first before enrolling in camp.  Helmets are mandatory, and available for purchase on site if needed.
