School of Rock Music Camps
A School of Rock music camp is a perfect introduction to our performance-based approach to music education. In addition to our year-round programs, our summer camps offer something for all ages and ability levels, from 5-6 year olds through teenagers, on drums, guitar, bass, keys, and vocals. Our introductory musical exploration camps for young beginners teach the basics of playing rock instruments in a band setting, including rhythm, song structure, and Rock ‘n’ Roll music appreciation. For more experienced players, our artist and genre-themed music performance camps get kids playing songs in a band immediately, culminating in an epic performance at the end of the week. Music recording and production is another popular camp, for kids wanting to learn the basics of how to lay down tracks (Vancouver WA location only). All camps are held onsite at our state-of-the-art music school buildings.
School of Rock has two new locations in the greater metro area: School of Rock Lake Oswego, recently moved to Tigard, and School of Rock Vancouver WA in East Vancouver.
Each location offers a slightly different schedule and variety of summer camps, so check out each school’s website for complete details and camp offerings. All camps take place on-site in our state-of-the-art music school buildings.
