I teach Suzuki guitar to children and adults with a joyful, experienced approach out of  Suzuki-Guitar.com in Portland, Oregon. Come Visit! Every person can play an instrument at a high level, and this can be a positive life experience for the whole family. I help my students to gain skills in music, cultivating a sense of joy and balance that will enrich their lives. I enjoy being a part of the beautiful relationship between self, parent, child, and teacher.. I aim to cultivate musical, cultured, curious, and creative citizens through the teaching and sharing of guitar and other musics. In an ocean of male guitar instructors, finally a female guitar instructor at last! I have a Ph.D degree in music (University of California Santa Barbara) and also teach at Lewis & Clark College, University of Portland and Portland State University. I teach children and adults in southeast and southwest Portland as well as online Zoom.
