No engines. Just gravity, guts and questionable engineering. The 2025 Portland Adult Soapbox Derby is back for another year of racing, wrecks, and awesome costumes. Join thousands of spectators on Mt. Tabor as 45 teams send their hand-built creations – flying down the hill sometimes gracefully, sometimes not.
This volunteer-run event runs from 10 am-4 pm, is free to attend, and family-friendly.
