Head to the 44th Show of Gems, Minerals and Fossils for a day your little rockhound will love! Admission is $7 for a weekend pass, kids 12 and under are free! The show includes:
- Kids corner with games and prizes
- 40+ dealers from all around the Northwest selling rocks, minerals, fossils, jewelry, beads, faceted gems, and lapidary supplies
- Over 70 display exhibits of a variety of rocks, minerals, and fossils. Some of which are competition displays, some of which are put on by our Junior rock hounds and collectors.
- Interactive Fossil Area to look at fossils and ask questions
- Fun cell phone scavenger hunt through the displays. Wear your favorite rock & mineral t-shirt
- Photographer of rocks and minerals.
- Door prizes, Raffle, and Silent Auctions
- Interactive demonstrations from experienced artisans in subjects like wire wrapping, beading, cabbing, faceting.
- Kids can win a chance (through a drawings on the hour) to learn how to pan for real gold with the NW Minerals Prospectors Club.
- Presentations for adults and children (children need to be accompanied by an adult to all presentations).
