Join longtime educators and lead instructors at Southwest Portland Martial Arts – Sifu Wally & Lara Jones in the padded play space of SWPMA PLAY! at 5315 SW Capitol Highway in Hillsdale Town Center, for ninjas ages 3 & 4.
These are drop-in age-appropriate, play-based movement classes, where people take the time to connect with others, facilitate social interactions between the children, and cheer one another on!
Students are introduced to all the basics of attending a group class, as well as developmentally-appropriate movement patterns, rudimentary Martial Arts skills, and lots of super fun martial, gymnastic and parkour equipment! Their adults (all variety of caretakers welcome) may physically participate as much or little as is comfortable; we can scale physical challenges, but adults are to remain with their student and model active participation as feels authentic.
Drills and games are designed to suit the developmental needs of the children who show up to play each week.
