Fairy King Oberon and Queen Titania are fighting; mischievous fairy Pucke transforms a foolish actor into an ass. King Oberon bespells Queen Titania to fall in love with the ass, and the successful prank leads to their reconcilement. Pucke fixes the spells and everyone watches the actors’ terrible, hilarious play.
