Managing anxiety – our children’s as well as our own – can be challenging, especially during stressful and uncertain times. Learn about the science and neurobiology underlying anxiety and develop a deeper understanding of how anxiety affects tweens or teens. Allan Cordova, Ph.D., received his doctorate from the University of Denver and completed his internship and postdoctoral work at the University of Washington. He has worked with youth and families in hospital, clinic and school settings. Born and raised in Oregon, he has been a clinical psychologist at Children’s Program since 2002. He specializes in working with teenagers, couples, and parents, with an emphasis on treating anxiety and depression.
