It’s Filipino American History Month. So at FLIP, we are reading books about Filipino culture and making star-shaped paper lanterns called Parols.
For many Filipino people, making and hanging parols is a fun way to show their love for the people around them. It represents the Star of Bethlehem, hope, and light.
Every Monday – Wednesday, we have a new theme for our Crafty Story Times. Come anytime between 9:30 and 1:30, but remember to arrive by 10:30 if you want to hear the stories. These events are always included in the $8 cost of admission to the children’s museum.
