Large numbers of migrating bald eagles come through the Columbia Gorge at this time of year and the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum is hosting a special FREE day full of amazing eagle and raptor programming! The US Forest Service and PERCH – a Raptor rehabilitation group is bringing live birds for demonstrations. Families can also enjoy an eagle movie marathon, and the museum’s own bald eagles, Liberty and Ferguson. Museum visitors can pick up an Eagle Circuit Map, learn where viewing conditions are best and have an amazing hands-on learning experience at Eagle Watch Day.
