Join Family Friend for a super fun, lowkey family jam sesh at Ethos Music Center on Sunday, January 25th from 9:30am-10:30am.
Family Friend is a community building org for queer families and caregivers to connect and build community, popping up around Portland hosting family friendly meetups and gatherings.
Bring your kiddos, and if you play, bring your instrument for a little show and tell. This event will be best for younger kiddos, 0-6, but all ages are welcome to join in, there’s a place for everyone in the fam jam band!
The theme of this session will be sound and color, including rainbow scarves, music and movement games, some ukulele sing a longs, and a special guest, our friend Singin’ Dylan!
We are so excited to host this music & movement themed event for our community. As two music lovers and caregivers, we believe music can be such a powerful tool for kids to learn and understand from a very young age, for things like physical / emotional regulation, storytelling, and self expression.
