Portland kids don’t care about the weather, and neither do we. On Sunday, February 15, we’re turning up the fun with a POP Club double coupon day. Kids ages 2–12 who try a bite of a local produce item will receive $6 in Power of Produce Club coupons to spend with our farmers. We’ll also be giving away fun stickers and magnetic Winter Market calendars, so you never miss a POP Club date. It’s free, family-friendly, and built for wiggly, curious kids.
ABOUT POP CLUB: Studies have shown that exposing kids to more foods at a younger age creates a solid foundation for healthy eating habits throughout their lives, so we’re working to make this a reality for our youngest community members. All ages are welcome at our POP booth to try a local, seasonal produce item. To celebrate their curiosity, children ages 2-12 receive a $3 coupon to spend with market farmers. POP Club runs during our winter market season only. POP Club is sponsored by a grant from the East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District.
