KidDo-Re-Mi is a group music class for babies/toddlers with their adult. Contact marysutton.piano@gmail.com to sign-up, and for the exact address. Sign-up is available until 9:30 am the morning of the class. Classes are held on Sundays from 10:00-10:45 and 11:15-1200 in NE Portland near the Grotto. $10-$20 sliding scale. Join us for exciting songs and activities designed to enrich our connection with music, and nurture a love of music theory! KidDo-Re-Mi emphasizes singing with solfege syllables (like do-re-mi) to help develop a solid understanding of pitch and musical relationships. We provide hands-on opportunities to create music on piano and keyboard instruments, as well as percussion and other musical toys. KidDo-Re-Mi is led by pianist, composer, and mother Mary Sutton Torres, who has over 20 years of teaching experience and an ever-growing passion for music education.
