Help clean up at the Fruits of Diversity Orchard! The group will be picking up trash and orchard debris, mulching, and pulling out blackberry canes. Join them in cleaning up this awesome community orchard!
Portland Fruit Tree Project cares for and harvests fruit trees in the Portland area to increase access to fresh, delicious fruit. Helping them maintain our community orchards keeps them healthy and productive so that we can distribute more fruit to neighbors in need.

Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting at Fruits of Diversity Community Orchard. Look for the Portland Fruit Tree Project signs.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What’s Provided: Gloves and tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you’d like!
Restrooms: Restrooms will be available at the Charles Jordan Community Center across the street from the orchard.
Parking: Attendees can use visitor spots in the Tamarack Apartments parking lot or park on the street (N Trenton or N Alaska).
Transit: The #4 bus stops right at the orchard.
Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
