Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and Literacy Lady PDX is here to help your little one create a gift that will melt Mom’s heart! In this special craft session, children will make beautiful personalized photo frames decorated with their handprints and other creative touches.
During this memorable hour, we’ll:

Read a special story celebrating moms and caregivers

Guide children through creating their own handprint photo frames

Add personalized decorations and messages

Take a special photo of your child to place in the frame (or bring one from home!)

Wrap the finished gift in tissue paper with a handmade card
This is the perfect opportunity for dads, grandparents, or other caregivers to bring children to create something meaningful for Mother’s Day. All materials are provided, and our staff will be on hand to help little creators make something truly special. Suitable for children ages 0-6.
