Eid al-Fitr, Persian New Year, and Local Native Cultural Traditions
We have a lot of special things planned for Spring Break. In addition to all our normal exhibits, like our cartoon-making room and fort-making area, we have activities planned that open up opportunities to celebrate or learn about different cultures in our community with the kids:
- Make a paper cup projector with a crescent moon and star for Eid al-Fitr.
- Make a hyacinth flower and learn about the Haft-Sin table for Persian New Year.
- Journey in a canoe on our green screen, then make your own in our craft room, while learning about the significance of waterways in the native cultures of our region.
Or just get goofy and have a great time making new friends and playing at FLIP. Keep an eye out for our new exhibit coming in April – z Conveyor Belt Sushi Restaurant
$10/Person, Under Age 2 is Free
