From March 22 – April 19, 2025, find 200 of these playful glass floats dropped on the beach in Lincoln City, Oregon.
This is a part of Lincoln City’s Finders Keepers program, a local tradition where hand-crafted glass floats are hidden on the beach for people to find and keep.
Here are some tips on how to find one:
There are seven miles of continuous beach in Lincoln City. Floats are hidden everywhere on this stretch, from Roads End in the north to Siletz Bay in the south, during daylight hours only.
Floats are hidden on the sand and near driftwood, not in the beach grass or vegetation.
Special themed drops like this one are in ADDITION to the regular floats that we drop on the beach almost every day of the year. Over 3,000 floats are dropped every year by float fairies on the beach in Lincoln City – averaging about 8 per day!
