Lake Oswego Eats

Who said you have to go to Portland to get jaw-dropping eats? The secret is out as Lake Oswego continues to build its reputation as a solid foodie suburb, complete with its own stand-alone restaurants and your favorite Portland chains. Here are some of our favorites.

The Mercato Grove alone is worth the visit to Lake Oswego. Here you’ll find your family-friendly Portland eateries all in one convenient, beautiful location. There’s Tasty for can’t-miss brunch, the family-friendly FILLS doughnuts, — get the Maple Bacon Butterscotch — the thin-crust pies at Oven and Shaker, and fresh-made pasta at Grassa.

Chuckie Pies is a beloved family-owned, family-friendly pizzeria. The Neapolitan-style pies are crafted with fresh-made dough, fired in a wood oven and topped with local, seasonal ingredients. Be sure to get an order or two of the breadsticks.

Kyra’s Bake Shop is what happens when a four-time winner on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars opens a bakery in Lake Oswego. The end result is delicious creations from cupcakes to cookies and even savory galettes and sandwiches. And for those with sensitive stomachs, Kyra’s is gluten-free and also boasts tasty dairy-free options, too.
