Silver Falls State Park – Silverton

Head to Silver Falls State Park outside of Silverton to gaze at the red alder and vine maple. Bonus: the waterfalls are stunning, too.

Hoyt Arboretum – Portland

Right in town, fall color peaks at Hoyt Arboretum in mid-October. Perfect for an easy, colorful stroll without leaving the city.
