Rockstar Energy Open returns to downtown Portland’s Waterfront Park August 14–16, 2026 bringing together world-class skateboarding, live music, art and culture for a free, three-day festival experience. Now in its third year, the event features Men’s and Women’s Park and Street competitions with top skateboarders from around the globe, including Rockstar Energy athletes Keegan Palmer, Chris Joslin and defending Men’s Street champion Lazer Crawford; as well as Olympic medalists Tom Schaar and Sky Brown.
The Video Qualifying Series (VQS) is signature to the Rockstar Energy Open, which gives skateboarders worldwide the opportunity to earn a spot in Portland through video submissions. Beyond the competition, fans can enjoy live music performances, interactive art installations, sponsor activations, local food vendors and beverage experiences throughout the festival village.
All competitions will be livestreamed globally on The Platfrm giving fans everywhere a front-row seat to the action. The event is free to attend, with VIP ticket options available for those looking to elevate their on-site experience.
