Become a Very Busy Creator with OCT!

Make this family-favorite production into a true family experience! Prior to performances of ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show’ on March 12 & 13, families can join OCT’s Artistic Director Marcella Crowson and their talented teaching artists for this magical workshop, where they can create something special together and experience this beloved children’s tale like never before.

March 12: Luminarias
This workshop will fill the winter months ahead with a magical, cozy glow, painting pictures with light, color, and sparkle. Whether you light the way on your doorstep, in your windows, or wherever you need a lantern to brighten the gloom, these will illuminate even the darkest night.

March 13: Portraits
Using the incredible collaging techniques of Eric Carle, this workshop will offer the opportunity to make group or individual portraits full of character and whimsy.  Whether it’s capturing the sparkle in an eye or giving one of your family members a particularly creative hairdo, these portraits are sure to become family heirlooms.
