PDX Parent has always been about helping parents through “the long days and the short years.” Now during these scary times — and without our libraries, play spaces, playgrounds, and the camaraderie of our fellow parents — the days can feel longer. But even though we are physically apart, we are still a community. And we are in this together. That is why we are launching a new way for parents to virtually interact,  support our local businesses, and to have some fun, too.

How it Works

We want to hear from you!

Each week we’ll ask a question and we hope you take a minute to write in your response. The questions are simple. (Because we are not trying to make anything complicated right now!)

We’ll choose some of the responses and share them in a post on pdxparent.com so you can hear how other parents are adjusting and coping. Each week, we’ll also choose one response at random — and that reader will win a gift certificate to a local business. Our local businesses make Portland an amazing place to raise a family, and we want to support them as much as we can right now.

This Week’s Question: What is bringing you joy?

Tell us something that you enjoyed — it doesn’t have to be fancy, complicated or expensive. Share one small thing that has brought you some comfort or pleasure in these crazy times.

This Week’s Prize:

$25 gift card to Finnegan’s Toys & Gifts. (They are taking phone orders for shipping or pickup!)

Enter to win by Monday, April 27 at midnight! And look for answers from your fellow parents in next Wednesday’s newsletter. a Rafflecopter giveaway
