Toddler Art & Sensory Class Our Toddler Art and Sensory class is a program designed for children ages 3 to 5 years old. Enjoy 45 minutes of time to yourself on Saturday morning while your toddler engages in play! During each class, we will explore a variety of sensory materials and art activities that are developmentally appropriate for young children. Some examples of the types of activities we may do in class include: Finger painting with washable paint, playdoh, clay, collage with various materials, sensory bin exploration, music, and movement activities. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for toddlers to engage in creative play and sensory exploration. We believe that exposing young children to a variety of materials and experiences helps to support their cognitive, physical, and emotional development. Our classes are led by an experienced educator who is trained in childhood development. We maintain a low student-teacher ratio to ensure that each child receives individualized attention and support. NECC staff cannot change diapers or accompany participants into the restroom. Please send children with clean diapers.
