Tryon Forest Adventures - an active full day outdoor summer experience for ages 7 to 12. Taking place Monday-Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm at Tryon Creek State Natural Area in SW Portland.
Youth explore life in the forest by working together to examine the ecology and people that create an interdependent urban park. They interact on a social level to enhance friendship building, teamwork and learning amongst diverse people in the community. Each day incorporates classic Tryon Creek activities like slug races, gnome homes, fort and stream building, hiking, games, storytelling and nature art.
Tryon Forest Adventures is a safe opportunity that will allow your child time outdoors to grow, learn and have fun.
