Let the good times roll at the Mysti Krewe of Nimbus’s annual Portland Mardi Gras Parade. Folks dress up and dance along Mississippi Avenue as Krewe members toss decorated, mini-umbrella “throws” to lucky participants at this family-friendly event. Many restaurants along Mississippi will offer food and drink specials on Fat Tuesday, both before and after the parade.
Pro tip: There’s a family-friendly after-party at Mississippi Pizza and the band Swamp Thang will be playing zydeco music!
The parade starts at North Humboldt Avenue and North Mississippi Avenue, and proceeds down Mississippi to Cook Street near Ecliptic Brewing. Tuesday, March 1. Parade starts at 7 pm.
